Peter Bull, Producing Artistic Director - Shamelessboyz

 

Peter's directing and performing credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin, Cabaret, Chicago, Two by Two, Sunny, Funny Girl, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Hate Mail and Extra Virgin.

 

He produced Vinegar Tom at the Etcetera Theatre, the world premiere of Dangerous and the European premiere of seduction...(a modern all male interpretation of La Ronde) which he transferred to Club Revenge in Brighton before directing new productions at Battersea Arts Centre, the Players Theatre in New York, the Uncommon Theatre in Milwaukee and Bailiwick Repertory in Chicago. He also worked with Phil Price on Mark Hooker's production of Naked Boys Singing! in Milwaukee. He produced Taken In in London and Milwaukee as well as directing the world premiere of Jack Heifner's Hate Mail in Milwaukee and producing BOYS PLAYS comprising Extra Virgin (which he also directed) and Boys' Play directed by John Pinckard. Last year he produced a rehearsed reading of Howard Walter's new play Chaser as well as a new production of Dangerous for the Bailiwick Repertory Theatre in Chicago.  He also served as associate producer of The Lightning Field at Oval House Theatre.  He is associate producer of the Chicago production of SHOUT! at the Drury Lane Theatre and the UK tour of SHOUT! The Swinging 60's Musical starring Claire Sweeney and Su Pollard. Currently he is working with Drew Caiden on Strawberry Daiquiri.

 

 

 

 

 

Jared Michael Coseglia - Director, The Lightning Field

 

 NY Directing Credits Include: CUTMAN a boxing musical (NYMF, 2007), The Lightning Field (The Flea, FringeNYC 2005, Winner Best Play Fringe and WIinner GLAAD Award for Best off-Off B'way Play), Dub a Hole in the Ground (LaMaMa, Etc.), Hang Like a Star (NYU-DWP), Mahogany (Joe's Pub and The Triad), Precious (Pelican and Creative Place), Erostratus (Gene Frankel), Is That Your or Is That Me? (HERE), The Valentine Fairy (Atlantic Theatre Co).  Jared has been the assistant director on Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks starring Polly Bergen and Mark Hamill on Broadway, Ragtime: The Musical (NETWorks Nat'l Tour), Mack and Mabel (Lincoln Center, Avery Fisher Hall), The Glass Menagerie (Roundabout), Rockwell, The Musical (Blue Heron), and Hurry! Hurry! Hollywood! (MTC).  Regional Credits include Floyd Collins (Berkshire Theatre Festival) and The Who's Tommy (BTF '03).  He also sound designs most of his work and has been designing Off-Broadway in such venues as The Mint Theatre Company, DR2, The Cherry Lane, SoHo Playhouse, The Century Center, Chelsea Playhouse, The Zipper, NYU/ETW, and more.  He is a resident director at the NYU Department of Dramatic Writing where he develops new work with emerging playwrights and screenwriters.  Jared is the co-artistic director of BannerNY, and holds a B.F.A. from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

 

 

Paul Hudson - Set and Lighting Designer, The Lightning Field

 

  Paul Hudson (Scenic and Lighting Designer) has been working in dance, theatre, television, film and architectural public art in New York City for almost ten years. Highlights include: Lighting on Synaesthetic Theatre's The Trial of K (New York and the International Festival of the Arts, Salamanca, Spain); the premiere of Amy Fox's One Thing I Like to Say Is... (Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks, The Ohio Theater); Bob Kalfin's The Color of Flesh (45th St.Theater); Art Director on the independent feature The House Is Burning (Holger Ernst, dir); working as the assistant Lighting Designer for Richard Winkler on A Wonderful Life (Papermill Playhouse, New Jersey), and "The Christmas Story" (Cleveland Playhouse, Cleveland, Ohio); and assisting artist Leni Schwendinger on her architectural public art project at the Seattle Opera House, Dreaming in Color. Having spent six months working on the West End in 1999 and 2000, including designing several showcases for West End Cares, Paul is thrilled to be returning to London with team of The Lightning Field. David Ozanich - Author, The Lightning Field

 

David has written for the stage and screen. His award-winning short films include Prom Queens: Battle to the Death, Electric Manicure, and Skating Becomes Vermoutha . Skating Becomes Vermoutha has played across the United States and Canada at such venues as the New York Magazine First Run Film Festival (recipient of Best Screenwriting and Best Producing honours), New York Underground Film Festival '06, New Orleans Film Festival, Silverlake Film Festival (Los Angeles), Antimatter Film Festival (Vancouver), and the Hollywood Underground Film Festival (winner Best Comedy Short). David's first feature film, Sex Farce, produced by BANNER NY won the Viewer's Choice Award at CINEQUEST Film Festival in 2006. He has two degrees from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts; a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production (2000) and an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing (2005).

 

 

 

 

Jack Heifner, Author - seduction.../ Boys' Play/ Hate Mail

 

Jack Heifner is best known for his play Vanities which ran for over five years in New York and became one of the longest running plays in off-Broadway history.

 

He is also the author of over thirty other plays including Natural Disasters, Running on Empty, Earth to Bucky, Bargains, Jumping for Joy, Boys' Play, Home Fires, Heartbreak, Comfort and Joy, Key West, The Lemon Cookie, seduction...(a modern day gay interpretation of  La Ronde) and others produced in New York, Los Angeles and theatres around the world.

 

Mr Heifner has written the book to six musicals including Leader of the Pack on Broadway, for which he received a Tony Award nomination. He has also written for television and film. His politically incorrect comedy Dwarf Tossing played at The Festival of Independant Theatres in Dallas recently and his equally outrageous China Dolls, a look at Americans adopting Chinese babies, premiered at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

 

 Mr Heifner is currently working on a musical version of Vanities which premiered in Palo Alto in 2006 and is preparing for a production on Broadway in 2008.

 

 

Howard Walters, Author - Extra Virgin / Chaser

 

Howard Walters is a writer based in New York.  His play Extra Virgin premiered at the Theater Under St. Marks in October 2004.  It was later revived for the Ninth Annual New York International Fringe Festival where it played to sold out audiences.  A companion play entitled Chaser has recently been completed.  Howard has worked as a contributing writer for the second season of Comedy Central’s The Man Show and is currently working on his new play The Anniversary Present.  He holds an M.F.A. and B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University. 

 

 

Tom Smith, Author - Dangerous

 

Tom Smith's published plays include Marguerita's Secret Diary (Baker's Plays); Gray (Original Works Online); and The Pathmaker, Comedy of Errors (editor), Much Ado About Nothing (editor), Two Gentlemen of Verona (editor), and Love's Labour's Lost (editor) forEncore Performance Publishing.  Most recently, Playscripts.com published Peter Pan: an awfully big adventure, Dangerous, and The Odyssey.  His other plays have received productions both nationally and internationally.  Tom is the recipient of the 2004 Robert J. Pickering Award for Excellence in Playwriting, the 2004 ATHE Playworks Award, the Orlin R.
